Phax Ahamada is an internationally recognized multidisciplinary dance and performance artist based in Gothenburg, Sweden. Born in Madagascar and raised in Paris, he creates work that blends street dance, mime, physical theatre and slow-motion movement into a deeply personal and expressive storytelling form. He performs in public spaces as well as on major cultural stages, and is also a respected teacher and mentor for emerging artists. In 2025, he was honored with a one of the most prest Culture Scholarship from the Sten A Olsson Foundation for Research and Culture for his artistic contributions.
